· Fully conversant of Risk Assessment & Hazard Analysis Techniques in Oil & Gas industry. Good hands on hazard analysis software, such as PRO – 5 Hazards.
· Professional HAZOP member, shared in many HAZOP sessions.
· Developed Emergency Response Procedures for different companies and locations.
· Developed or participated in developing different safety procedures. e.g. HSE manual for GUPCO, Permit to Work System (PTW), Simultaneous operating procedures (SIMOP's), Man Basket Procedures, H2S procedures, etc.
· Developed, and instructed lot of training courses for the petroleum sector, Egypt, Emergency Response Planning, Safety Awareness, Hazardous Materials, Fire Safety, H2S, Heat Stress, etc. Participated in developing the Training Plan and calendar for 3 years, GUPCO..
· Fire Fighting training instructor, lead practical training in GUPCO fire school in fighting different props, for fire brigades, Operation personnel's & Sistercompanies. Participated in developing & upgrading the fire school ground & modules.
· On Scene Commander (OSC), lead many fire incidents & Oil Spills in GUPCO & Community outside GUPCO boundaries, as well as rescue operation for vehicle collisions & road incidents.
· Professional member in lightning strikes participated in developing the plan to protect our tank farms & other facilities from lightning strikes, as well as developing the tank farm management plan & off shore fire fighting plan.
· Participated with NFPA member in evaluating the fire fighting facilities for turbine packages & developed recommendations.
