Engro Polymer & Chemicals Ltd is a joint venture of Engro Chemicals Pakistan Ltd and Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan.
Company have the facility of PVC back integration manufacturing unit of EDC/VCM provided by Formosa chemicals & plastic Corporation Louisiana USA and Chloro Alkali unit provided by China National chemical engineering Corporation with 75 MW power generation unit:

PVC-2 Train

• This Plant has the capacity to produce 50,000 MT/year polyvinyl chloride resin ( PVC )
• A suspension polymerization process is adopted to produce PVC powder
by polymerization of raw material VCM in three polymerizes.
• The plant utilizes state of the art technology supplied by China Tianchen chemical engineering corporation China. The technology has the special feature of close mode operation and automatic operation & emergency system.
• The plant is controlled by Honeywell Experion R 301.1 DCS system




Responsibilities:

• Develop Precommissioning, Commissioning & Start up procedures of PVC
• Develop equipment/system Turnover sequence of Uty-2 & PVC-2 in coordination with TCC.
• Participate in the FMEA of PVC-2 DCS system, and Compile its report.
• Develop Safety Plan for Pre-Commissioning / Commissioning and Startup.
• Develop Operations RMRC & Risk Management.
• Compliance on operations related recommendations to PHA.
• Develop detailed core operation Training schedule for PVC-2.
• Develop commissioning procedures and their review for Sub SOC.
• Develop Process Mapping of PVC-II Operations Activities
• Assist TCC in smooth start up & commissioning of UTY-2 & PVC-2 during FT Operation.
• On-time Mechanical completion and flawless startup of PVC-2
• Develop hiring plan of PVC-2 & Utilities.
• Have knowledge of PSM (Process Safety Management
