Instruments and control engineer in Cairo north power station (750MW combined cycle) 2 Gas turbines (Mitsubishi), 1 Steam Turbine (Hitachi), 2 HRSG (NEM) &DCS System (FOXBORO).
Cairo North power station DCS System upgrades:
1. Upgrade the System network architecture after replacing the DNBT modules by 2 NCNI, 2 Network switches and 5 RCNI modules.
2. Upgrade the system software from Foxboro I/A Series V6.5 to I/A series V7.1.4 with all its associated software (Fox View, Fox Draw, Fox CAE, System Definition ….).
3. Installation for the new workstations from scratch, configuration for all the system software (Fox View, Fox Draw, Alarm Manager, SOE, AIM Historian).
