Professional Experience
Since starting work in the oil and gas business sector in 1983, I have been involved in various parts of the business, originally gaining extensive offshore service experience in various services, including completions, well interventions and other drilling and completions applications. Since moving onshore in 1993, I have also gained very extensive business development, key account management and sales & marketing knowledge and experience, working with all levels of personnel in the major Oil Companies, and Service Company organisations. Most recently, I have been employed as a Supply Chain Manager, covering the procurement, mobilisation and demobilisation of a large portfolio of drilling and completion products, over an extensive area (covering West Africa, Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan) and other countries in Central Europe, and the Middle East. My most recent task was coordination and implementation of an ERP system (JD Edwards) for our Eastern Europe Operation in Romania, so have a very good working knowledge of how ERP systems function.
