Drilling Engineer/Superintendent /Manager

Preferably rotational but would consider residency, preferably consultancy but would consider staff. Long or short term.

My career has been spent entirely in the Petroleum Industry serving as a Drilling Supervisor, Production Engineer, Drilling Engineer, Completions Engineer, Contracts Engineer, Drilling Superintendent and Drilling Manager. My background includes offshore experience with posted barges, jack-ups, platform rigs, semi-submersibles, tendered rigs and DP drill ships. I also have land rig experience including desert operations.

I have current Drilling Manager/Superintendent and Engineering experience.

I spent sixteen years with Chevron and ten or more combined with large independents Amerada Hess, Noble Energy, Triton Energy, Kerr McGee, United Meridian, Placid and others

I recently completed a two well drilling project in Egypt as rotating Drilling Manager in charge of a jackup drilling in the Gulf of Suez for IPR Energy Red Sea.

I worked for Chevron for the first 16 years of my career; ultimately as Drilling Superintendent. I then worked for Amerada Hess as Drilling Manager in Abu Dhabi. Since the mid 80's I have worked as a Drilling Consultant in the capacity of Drilling Supervisor, Drilling Engineer, Completions Engineer, Drilling Superintendent and Drilling Manager.

I have a number of references from clients/bosses from my consultant work and prior that I'll be glad to provide upon request. I am also forwarding a commendation letter from my last bosses (General Manager & Ops. Manager) in Cairo.

I have extensive experience as a Drilling Manager and Superintendent, but also am capable of performing all functions of a Drilling Engineer as well as I've been called upon to do in many of my jobs as Drilling Manager/Superintendent.

In addition to the administrative duties of a Drilling Manager and the rig responsibilities of a Drilling Superintendent I can also perform the Engineering functions of tendering, tender analysis, negotiations, bid awards and contract administration as well as the writing of Drilling/Completion/Testing Programs, preparation of Cost estimates/AFE's and all other Engineering functions.
