RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fluor Mideast Limited (Qatar) is a Multi-Billion USD Project in Qatar which includes one of the largest man-made export ports in the world to support LNG, GTL and LPG production facilities.
My responsibilities include interfacing with the Construction Team, Client (RasGas) and other disciplines such as Piping, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical within the Completions Team.
Ensure that Turnover and Commissioning activities are executed efficiently and critical documentation required for Final Systems Handover is monitored daily.
Implemented an easy to follow colour code format whereas just by looking at the colours of a report generated by myself you would know the status of a particular system. A legend was indexed for this colour code.
From the efficient running of the critical documentation of the A&B check sheets I was then tasked to Completions Engineer to oversee the Punch Items and the effective working off and clearing of Punch Items and Liaising with Engineering on the more complicated and technical issues brought up by RasGas and Qatar Gas Operations

Ensure all quality control records for the work are progressively accumulated, indexed & available to support a phased systematic acceptance & handover of the plant to the Client in accordance with the project Acceptance of the Work Plan.
Assist In the site audits carried out on the construction site by Client audit teams.Immediately stop any unsafe work practices which are likely to cause accidents or are injurious to health. Using P&ID's plot layouts & other drawings & documents define the construction & commissioning deliverables in the form Systems, Areas, Buildings & Modules.
Compile handover dossiers in formats agreed with Client.
Compile & consolidate punch lists, & provide auditable trail to ensure that all punch list items are recorded & signed off by authorized personnel upon completion. Advice Construction Superintendents & Construction Supervisors of status of completion of projects & provide progress & status reports as required. Set up, populate & maintain the turnover & Acceptance of the Work database system or other data base engineering information systems used to track progress & store handover data. Ensure the Acceptance of the Work processes is clearly specified & agreed with Client before implementation; ensure compliance with these requirements thereafter.
