Senior carbonate sedimentologist with 15 years of experience of sedimetological, stratigraphical and sequence-stratigraphy studies avout the Mesozoic carbonate rocks of platform/shelf, slope and basinal facies, outcropping in Sicily chain.. Degree in 1996, PhD in 2000 (4 years on carbonate sedimentary geology, thesys on sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy of Triassic-Paleogene carbonate succession of platform-to-basin system, outcropping in Sicily chain), postdoc in 2004 (4 years on geological mapping, stratigraphy and carbonate sedimentology). From 2000 the writer make educational courses on geology and sedimentology at Palermo University.
