I have excellent knowledge and skills on the following equipment.
Turbine compressors, Reciprocating compressors, Steam turbines. I have worked at Sasol Secunda on various plants, Synthol, Rectisol, Phenosolvan, Cold separation, Gas reforming and Reduction to name a few. I worked on Coal fired boilers, Chemical boilers and evaporator plants in the paper and pulp industry.
I have been involved with petrochemical, gas to liquid, and paper pulp in the past 27 years. Working “hands on” to Management responsibilities covering many different construction projects and maintenance of field instrumentation and DCS.
Work experience I have used my knowledge and skills to do maintenance in Petro Chemical, paper and pulp and Mining smelters and be part of the construction teams of multi billion dollar International projects in Oil and gas and Chemical plants

I complete specialised training on the following TDC 3000 equipment, Process manager and function, and maintenance of all LCN equipment.
Field Instrumentation:I have excellent experience in Flow measurement with differential, vortex, magnetic and positive displacement devices. Temperature measurement with thermocouples, infrared and RTD’s. Level measurement with ultra sonic, radar, nuclear and conventional DP methods.
Honeywell, Rosemount, Yokogawa, Endress Hauser.
I also have much experience on pneumatic controllers and transmitters.
Valves. I maintained, overhauled and calibrated a wide range of valves.

Duties Drafting of installation procedures for capillary transmitters in Hasteloy (C276) and 316 Stainless service. Verify correctness of all Instrument installations in Acetic Acid plant by comparing installations with P&ID’s and Instrument data sheets. Liaise with engineering and vendors on problem areas and resolving deviations. Redlining P&ID’s.
