I have to date broad experience in various construction projects in India and abroad in the field of QA/QC Piping & Welding Inspections and testing involving fabrication and erection of piping system pressure vessels and storage tank construction, welding, NDT, Inspections and testing of piping and steel structure at main plant process units, off sites and utilities as per ISO 9001 procedural documentation, include materials inspection with ISO 9002 & 9003 certification on all QC activities all related to the construction of Petrochemical plants, Gas Processing Plants and Oil Production Platform construction using, ASME, ANSI, API, AWS and other international codes post weld heat treatment (PWHT) requesting of the low alloy weld joints, Inspection of the PWHT Hardness Testing with all Reports.
I have good Exposure in preparation of TEST PACKS which involves formatting the necessary documents according to the test requirements viz. Line service, test limits, test pressure, temperature design pressure, temperature, test fluid, mode of pressurisation pre-test, post test and flushing requirements. Responsibility also involves release of test packs for testing which includes, compiling of weld history date, with respect to weld details, welder qualifications, NDT, PWHT requirements.
Walk down of test packs; punch listing, witnessing of test and flushing and reinstatement of all post test punch items, submission of final documents to client.
More than twelve years supervisory experience in the capacity of mechanical Engineer QC in construction of various Oil & Gas plants, onshore gas development projects, chemical & Petro-Chemical plants, Fertiliser, Refinery and Steel Plants. Major part of work devaluated to welding & NDT activities. Close involvement in fabrication erection, testing, pre-commissioning of plant piping, pipelines and storage tanks.
