Professional Summary

•7 years experience working in Drilling, Completion and Workover Engineering handling Exploration, appraisal, development, Infill, and workover well projects with varying technical complexity. Currently acting as department focal point for slim hole technology and casing while drilling applications in Petronas.

•Worked closely and coordinated with Completion group for Gravel Pack, Frac Pack, Hydraulic Fracturing (for tight reservoirs) and acidizing jobs for Production Enhancement in development wells. Able to integrate and specify well design to meet various completion methods

•Gained valuable experience working on various workover type wells, sidetracking and drilling from existing Ruby wells to boost field production.

•Have vast knowledge and experience in basement drilling. Identified various technologies which were applied to ensure fast drilling in Basement such as Rotary Steerable System and latest in bit technology and vibration reducers. Worked on pilot project with Schlumberger and successfully implemented first time in NC-10 exploration well, Seismic While Drilling technology to pick safe casing setting depth for drilling in carbonate basement.

•Have in depth knowledge in Tenders and Contracts for drilling and completion equipment and materials. Involved in all phases of tendering process and experienced in presenting Tender Committee papers to the highest level of management in the organization.

•Generates, maintains drilling rig long term drilling sequence (LTDS) for Vietnam Operations. Presented LTDS on monthly basis to management team. Plans and optimizes rig moves for assigned rigs to specific project through LTDS.

•Highly experienced in presenting drilling performance and budget request in Management Committee Meeting and Mid year review for Block Committe Meetings.


Excellent team player possessing strong liaison, communication and presentation skills both written and verbal and in-depth knowledge of project management techniques and working with broad multi-disciplinary teams.
