CurreDynCorp International:  Texas USA, Position: Motor vehicle Technician (Diesel Mechanic) : Site MechanicKabul, Armed Forces Overseas Afghanistan, Responsibilities:Responsible for the maintenance, repair and services of all vehicles and body armed plated vehicles within the Arsic West Region in the Herat Province of Afghanistan.Assist and plan the recovery of broken down vehicles/ damage vehicles involved in motor vehicle accidents and vehicle/s involved in firearm /explosive attacks.Replace of damaged parts and fitment of new armed proof plating and bulletproof windscreen and side window panels Periodic visits to the various Camp site (5 in total) outside the Herat TRC boundaries (as far as Islam Qala on the Iran/Afghanistan Border)When road travel is required I assist with security requirements, Order and arrange for all the logistic to receive and distribute the correct replacement parts and materials for the vehiclesKeep proper record on all work carried out on the vehicles and schedule service dates to allow minimum interference of the operational requirements Upkeep of all equipment and staff safety within the work areaAdditional
