Offshore – Worked for certification, Inspection, Installation, Revamping, Maintenance and rehabilitation project of offshore complexes (Asset integrity management project) Installation of jackets and topside installation for process platform, well head platforms, Flare platform and similar other. Three leg & four leg jacket installation with conductors, Transition Pieces, Boat landing,Risers and associated several sub marine pipeline laying on pipe lay barge with manual as well as Automatic welding by sermier Dasa and CRC Equipments and Auto Ultra sonic Inspection & Hook Up and commissioning.

ONSHORE – Worked for certification and inspection of LNG Plants and cross country pipeline
Laying with manual welding and Automatic welding by sermier Dasa and CRC Equipments and Auto Ultrasonic testing by Applus RTD, Oceanneering. Construction of Jackets, Topsides, Bridges, construction works for LNG Plant fabrication work shop and plant installation work, Spherical oil tanks and Storage for water tanks, witness the mechanical testing for PQR, welders qualification test.
Plant Inspector – Worked for plant shutdown jobs for refineries, petro chemicals and Process platform, well head satellite platforms.

Project: Offshore Associated Gases (OAG) EPC Package - 2
GASCO intends to install a 30’’ OD Pipeline to transport the compressed and dry the associated offshore gases from Das Island to Ras Al Qila on the Abu Dhabi mainland - Habshan.
NPCC engaged Det Norske veritas Pte Ltd Singapore to perform engineering critical assessment (ECA) to develop alternative AUT Flaw acceptance criteria for 30’’ OD X 24 mm and 27.1 mm WT API 5L Grade X60 pipeline girth weld and ECA Methodology was modified as per DNV –OS-F101 (11) and DNV-RP-F 108 (9) to accommodate the strain based analyses in-line with the current industry practice.
Position: AUT Interpreter (From May 2009 to till date)
As a Client QC representative to review of pipeline (API 5L X 60) semi auto weld joints scanned by AUT and interpreted and approval of all production weld joints. Surveillance of repair welding activity in NPCC vessel DLB 1000

Technical Qualification
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – 1987 First class from TamilNadu Technical Board

Professional Qualification:
CSWIP 3.2 Senior welding Inspector from TWI – U.K (Certificate no # 15028/2)
BGAS Grade 2 Painting Inspectors (Certificate no # 19141)
ASNT NDT Level II in Ultrasonic testing, Radiographic Testing, MPI & DPI
International Welding Inspector Diploma from International Institute of Welding.
Diploma in European Welding Inspection specialist from European Welding Federation
