Introduction: The Diocesan Board of Education (DBE) Islamabad/Rawalpindi is the central body of educational institutes in the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Islamabad/Rawalpindi, covering whole of the NWFP and North-West of Punjab. The DBE is registered as a charitable Society. There are 47 schools/institutes of the DBE in its jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
Quarterly reporting of the Accounts to the Chairman and the Management Board
Introducing the financial management procedures and implementing
suggestions for the service rules and regulation
Managing investment portfolio and periodic investment
Annual Budgeting of the D.B.E. as well as schools
Maintaining annual statistical reports of the employees and students
Supervising annual audit of schools through Chartered Accountants’ firm
Giving short training and organizing annual workshops
Overlooking and controlling the financial performance as well as internal, annual and half yearly audit of the D.B.E. schools
Handling bank and other corporate affairs.
