• Playing a pivotal role as Quality Advisor, tasked with delivering effective quality management across the Group whilst also creating, promoting and continually developing a strong quality culture
• Overseeing the implementation of Group quality policies whilst also facilitating the introduction of initiatives relating to quality and improvement
• Monitoring and evaluating quality performance data including the implementation and management of comprehensive quality control and document control systems
• Coordinating audits and non-compliance investigations, conducting analysis and design of corrective actions, developing learning processes and implementing business improvement actions
• Ensuring adherence by personnel to all company policies and procedures, providing support and guidance as required
• Working closely with internal teams on the provision of quality information for tender purposes as well as liaising with the SCM team on supplier prequalification and supplier development processes
• Dynamic and multifaceted role, with accountability for both the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions at a company level and across a wide range of client projects
• Responsible as GLTA's Management Representative for QMS development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement
• Devising and implementing SOP's for individual projects, monitoring project performance via audits as well as managing and undertaking work processes for inspections and non-conformance reporting
• Investigating and troubleshooting supplier non-conformance issues and trends in conjunction with identifying actions to improve supplier performance levels
• Conducting root cause analysis and review to enable the development of key learning outcomes/NCR's
• Completing project planning in relation to the monitoring, inspection and control of welding activities; working to exacting specifications and in line with quality control, procedural and safety requirements
• Preparing regular reports on productivity and quality levels, introducing new initiatives to facilitate greater efficiency and improved quality control
