Duties - Perform month end closing activities and review monthly costing report
( product line costing ) .

- Review monthly overhead expenses and perform variance analysis .

- Prepare cost analysis ( unit cost & utilization commentary ) for monthly cost management meeting .

- Prepare utilization analysis ( reconcile operational Vs financial performance , which is mainly due to work-in-progress on hold , yield level , shipping status ) for monthly operational meeting .

- Prepare cost analysis for new / existing products .

- Identifying low-margin product line and highlight to management for actions to be taken ( withdrawal , re-negotiation , cost reduction , process improvement plan )

- Prepare cost modeling to suit customer requirements ( change of business model , process flow , material usage )

- Evaluating operational efficiency ( man-to-machine ratio , overhead spending )
to ensure it’s justifiable .

- Prepare monthly customer margin & product mix report & analysis .

- Compile cost analysis for Product Line Management team to support pricing management .

- Prepare monthly forecast , cost tracking & controlling .

- Meet with sales & operation management team to ensure revenue is on track and spending is in line with revenue loaded .

- Revise yearly / quarterly cost allocation with the most appropriate basis .

- Initiating the need to revise Bill of Material ( BOM ) usage to ensure the standard BOM usage is very close to actual usage , hence reduce excessive buying .

- Prepare yearly budget & setting yearly standard costs




- Undertake ad-hoc report to provide financial data for management
decision making.
