POSITION HELD: OJT TECHNICIAN
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform all plant mechanical maintenance carried out in the plant.
• Responsible for the preventive and predictive maintenance in respect of all the mechanical element of the plant such as compressors, pumps, gas turbines, generators and reciprocating equipment, pipes, and valves etc.

• Pm on re-boilers/ heaters and regeneration gas blower
• Pm on Turbo Expanders
• Troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of (cat) 3304,3306 and G309
• Work with contract maintenance personnel for minor and major overhauls.
• Preparing requisitions for spares and supplies, and maintaining control inventories
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop, and carrying out housekeeping after work completion
• Maintain record of the type of maintenance activities.
• Assisting in plant operation as required
• Assisting in the update of plant drawing and prints as change are made.
• Pm on nitrogen system. and pm on residue and turbo expander gas compressor.
• Raise order for parts and keep record of stock
• perform daily maintenance report.
• Pm on cooler fans and instrument air compressor and driers.
• replacement of mechanical seals using original equipment manual(OEM)
• Rigging
• Perform piping inspection/ Testing (NDT)

Recently, I completed a world class apprenticeship program leading to my award of level 4 city and Guilds (C&G) certificate of the prestigious London Institute in Mechanical Technology at the Exxonmobil funded technical training centre Eket, Nigeria.
During the period of the training I demonstrated practical on-the-job experience on hydrocarbon production equipments, such as power system (turbine and Generators maintenance), Designing and interpretation of technical drawing, maintenance of all rotating equipment, troubleshooting and maintenance of emergency generating set, preventive maintenance on pumps and Gas & Air compressors, Heaters and Blowers, cooler fan etc. prepare work permit and job safety analysis (JSA) etc. in both offshore and onshore locations.
I also have extensive relevant experience on preventive maintenance of survival capsule, nitrogen plant, report writing and ordering of parts. Also as process operator.
Assists with new installation and other projects, as requested by the supervisor.
