•Preparing monthly and annual management/financial accounts (i.e. Profit and Loss account, Balance sheet and Cash flows) to reflect the company’s performance and state of affairs as required by the management and in accordance with the international accounting standard.
•Implementation of approved audit recommendations and issuance of progress report as scheduled.
•Maintaining related party statements and reconciliation, ensuring that any differences are sorted out and explanations given.
•Making payment to creditors through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and other online banking transactions.
•Preparing creditors and debtors ageing analyses and forwarding them to the personnel in charge of payment and credit collection for timely settlement.

•Checking and analysis of the correctness and completeness of postings to the various ledger accounts and recommending corrective measures.

•Maintaining fixed assets register and schedules, keeping track of the new and old assets while making sure that the correct valuation and depreciation method and rates are used as required by the Kenyan and international accounting standards.
•Preparing stock flow analysis and reconciling with the physical stock data from the company’s own and Kenya Pipeline Corporation tanks.
