Additional Information
Additional information.
I have taken part in many Turn around shut downs, de-bottle necking, plant up grades equipment over hauls.
Whilst at EPCL I covered the plant superintendent’s position in his absence and vacation time. I also over saw many plant start ups after the frequent total trips which the plant suffered through various causes, also fire and explosion.
Whilst I was at Shell Stanlow I was selected to travel overseas to partake in the start up of a process that was soon to be started up at Stanlow, I was also a site safety rep.
When at Petrokemya I received many letters of appreciation for suggestions I put in regarding plant modifications and safety items that I thought to be of improvement to the Plant and safety in general.
A few months after arriving in Nigeria I was approached by “The British High Commission” to stand as a “Community Liaison Officer”
My time on Bonny has been spent as part of the Commissioning group, and when the commissioning of Train 5 was started I was put as Shift Supervisor in charge of a shift of 15 commissioning supervisors, senior operators and trainees of various nationalities, on completion of the commissioning we started the plant up successfully. Once commercial production was achieved I was moved to the next train at the construction phase as the client representative to ensure contractual completion of the trains.
