Oil & Gas Trade Finance Manager 7 years experience

I would ideally like to continue to manage a Trade Finance team in the Oil and Gas industry as I have strong experience in Oil and Gas Trade Finance with most of African and Middle Eastern countries.

TRADE FINANCE

Trading Shipping Department - Financial operations for Trading Dept. Management of credit for import and export oil transactions (Asia, Africa, Middle East).
* Issuing and checking letters of credit, following the evolutions of the operations in relation with Trading and Shipping teams so as to intervene on clause of the financing and reviewing contract terms to ascertain credit risks. Managing the structured and financial appropriations (Red Clause L/c), designing the policies, strategies and means of action, installation of the methods of refunding, following-up of the goods in guarantee and refunding with the banks.
* Placing trade finance business and operations so as to anticipate, identify, and mitigate credit risk exposure with banks and monitoring outstanding deals; monitoring storage positions in relation to specific areas (especially West Africa); checking and liaising with traders, operators and credit risk to ensure financial issues.
* Following the evolutions in interaction with many other departments as Accounting, Legal, Contracts, Tax and Treasury and Trading teams (based in Paris, Geneva, Houston, Singapore and Tokyo) focused primarily on crude oil supply for the Group's refineries, product supply for the Group's marketing subsidiaries, the marketing of the Group's oil and gas production on world market.


SALES

Refining and Marketing Dept. Ensuring the conformity of the representation of the movements of products for the Group refineries.

* Ensuring the account management of stocks in connection with the Trading Dept for LPG products importation and exportation.
Providing the interface between commercial and operational activities (Refining Provisioning, Logistic Deposits, Logistic Transport...) and defining axes of improvement within the framework of the objectives of permanent progress. Providing the delivery of prices for Butane / Propane
* Controlling and validating the movements of products carried out by Total in the Marketing deposits (loadings, transfers, change of class…) LPG market benchmarking. Analysis of the movements of products, physical and financial controlling of the day’s stocks.
