Preventive maintenance activity Include
1. Coupling condition.
2. Lubricant replacement of Brgs. & coupling (if required).
3. Alignment checks and compare with original.
4. Vibration analysis.
5. Inspection of New Rotor of Compressors and steam Turbine.
Routine maintenance activities belong to plant on(Ammonia unit)dealing with different machines such as: -
• Steam Turbines (Condensing & Non condensing)
Elliot, Terry, Copus, Hitachi, G.E,
• Multistage centrifugal compressor For (MCL and BCL)
Cooper Bessemer, Dresser Rand.
• Screw compressors (Oil free and oil injected)
(How den, Atlas)
• Different seals of Compressors
(Oil Floating, Honeycomb)
• High Speed and High pressure centrifugal pumps
(Sundstrand, Gould’s, Ingersoll).
• Centrifugal pumps (Single and multistage)
• Dosing pumps.
• MV motors (Bearing replacement)
• Installation of mechanical seal (single) and Double arrangement (Face to face, Back to back and Tandem).
• Fitting of different bearings (Tilting pads, Sleeve bearing and anti friction bearings
• Couplings (Fluid type, Magnetic type, Gear type, Steel grid type, High performance shim pack coupling, Rubber pad, and rigid couplings).
• High speed and Heavy Load gear boxes.
• Conveyor Belts Joint (Cold)
I have practical Knowledge about Alignment and have done alignment at different machines with these methods,

• Excellent skill to read Mechanical drawing Isometric Drawings, P&ID and PFD, s of plant for erection, maintenance and troubleshooting purpose.
• Hand on experience about measurement tools such as vernier caliper, micrometer and Dial indicator, inside micrometer, bore gauge, Depth micrometer e.t.c.
• Good analytical & troubleshooting skill.
• Familiar disassembly and reassembly rotating equipment (include doing alignment).
• Good understand in Permit Work and Mechanical Isolation Standard.
• Good Understand in Turbo machinery Inspection.
