Experienced Mechanical Engineer

I'd like to pursue a career in the Oil & Gas industry. I understand the value of respectful adherence to their cultural differences when we, as expatiates want to do business in foreign countries.

All engineering projects have similarities which carry over. I believe an important aspect of a good engineer is the ability to use common sense during analysis of a problem to deduce the root cause and optimum solution. Of course common sense is generally the result which stems from one’s experience. My experience includes; organizing timing plans; projecting manpower requirements; controlling cost within a budget; understanding and implementation of quality control techniques; design and development from initial concept through production manufacturing of a multitude of products. I have always been a committed leader and my engineering teams appreciate this, working with diligence to produce the desired results.

Offering over twenty-five years of diversified Engineering & Design experience. Applications include outer body surface, BIW sheet metal, castings, stampings, forgings, molded plastics & rubber, mechanisms, and air & fluid flow. CAD/CAE methods include Kinematic motion studies, 3D surfacing, NC cutter paths, and solid modeling, as well as FEA, CFD, and SLA modeling. Knowledgeable in ASME Y14.5M GD&T standards and tolerance stacks. Trained in LEAN 6–Sigma methodology including SPC, DOE, & DFMEA. Over 5 years instructing others in a classroom setting as well as assisting others with on the job training in the aforementioned techniques.
