Employment AMBULANCE PARAMEDIC SEPTEMBER 1993 – PRESENT
• Advance care Paramedic Queensland Ambulance, working remote rural sites around far north QLD
• Team Leader of New Lynn Ambulance Station in Auckland New Zealand with 34 staff. This is the busiest station in Auckland and New Zealand responding to > 50 calls pr day
• Supervise day to day logistics of station and staff needs with 5 front line vehicles working varying 12hr shifts and attending to any health and safety issues that arise and ensuring staff adhere to OSH procedures set on station
• Respond to emergency calls throughout central and rural Auckland both medical and traumatic up to 10 jobs pr day.
• Theoretical and practical training of local first response groups, new ambulance staff and university degree students.
• Responsible for setting up local first response group, arranging training portfolios, setting up response procedures and scope of practice clinical procedures.
• Administer Advanced pre-hospital emergency care to a high standard
• Scene management. Intra service relations , Police and Fire helicopter and fixed wing opp’s with RFDS
• Helicopter landing officer.
• Promote Teamwork, professionalism, empathy and understanding to staff and patients.

• 16/2/2009 Recertification, cross credit qualifications to Queensland and Australian standards certificate of practice. Working for QAS far north Queensland Advanced care Diploma.
• 23/7/2008 ACLS refresher 2 yearly practice certification, Auckland
