Petroleum Engineer

I desire to earn a position for an oil and gas producer or service company and become a valuable asset to my employer. I wish to gain a diversified area of expertise.

I currently work for Mountain V Oil and Gas, Inc. in Bridgeport, WV (USA) as a Reservoir Engineering Consultant. At Mountain V, I have performed a profitability review of the company’s 3 service swabbing rigs, well soaping activities, and wellbore plunger applications, prepared Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan and Preparedness, Prevention, and Countermeasure (PPC) Plan for 369 wells, and performed reservoir calculations for acquisitions and partnerships.

I have previously worked for Dominion Exploration & Production, Inc. in Jane Lew, WV (USA) as a Reservoir Engineering Intern. I assisted with decline curve analysis using ARIES on over 3,000 gas wells, helped process and validate Authority For Expenditure (AFE) reports for well prospects, assisted in reservoir calculations and formal presentation preparation for acquisition, and helped generate a comprehensive, annual five-year budget report that included simulated production, capital expenditures, revenue, cash flow, and drilling program recommendations.

I also have field experience from shadowing drilling engineers and production coordinators during their daily duties.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from West Virginia University in May 2009. I had a major GPA of 3.06.

I am certified by International Association of Drilling Contractors WellCAP Program in Wild Well Control.

I have professional and academic experience with industry software, including Microsoft office Suite, ARIES, Geographix, Schlumberger Pipesim, and Schlumberger FracCade. Also, I am excellent at listening, following directions working independently, working in a team setting, preparing and presenting formal presentations, and technical writing.
