Professional Experience
• Eleven years of experience working on Mechanical & Electrical SCR/VFD Drive Land Drilling Rigs, working as Senior SCR Electrician, Electrical Supervisor, Field Engineer, and Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities include supervisory, maintenance & Operations.
• Construction, design, reconditioning and Rig-Up of Mechanical and Electrical Drilling Rigs.
• Experience in management strategies of maintenance and CMMS (MAXIMO PROGRAM).
• Seven years of experience in Electric Drilling Systems such as: GE, IPS, TPC, CANRIG, ROSS HILL, BAYLOR, OEM, IEC Systems, IDM Equip. and National Oilwell-NOV-VARCO.
• Knowledge and experience in maintenance to electric equipments such us Prime-Power & Stand-By Rated Engine/Generators, transformers, electric motors AC & DC, electric controls, solid state PLC-Logic Computer Based Systems.
• Experience in PLC; AB, GE, SIEMENS and TELEMECANIQUE. Design of Electrical Power Distribution Systems, solid state systems, SCR & VFD Drive Technology.
• Experience in Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems. Remote & stand-alone systems.
• Experience in software such as Word, Excel, Power-Point, Acces, Autocad, Project Manager PRO, and some PLC software.
• Troubleshooting of rig electrical problems, perform rig preventative maintenance, and make necessary onsite repairs. Document control and dissemination to the field personnel.
• Documentation for Rig Testing & Certification, Rig Data Books, Vendor witness tests, etc…
