Process Engineer-2 years Experience in Petrochemicals Sector in Operations and Commissioning.

Young Process Engineer willing to work in Upcoming Projects and existing facilities and also in the field of Process Simulation and Design.

Started my career with Reliance Industries Limited and currently working with them since Oct2007. I have a FIELD and DCS experience of supervising and managing a MEG(Mono Ethylene Glycol Plant) and got promoted to Manager in Oct2008.My job profile at MEG plant includes operations,startup and shut down of alcohol based MEG plant, under emergencies and coordination with various departments(Maintenance) for smooth functioning of the plants.I have a hands on experience in start up, shut down and operations of pumps, compressors, turbine and unit operations like distillation, evaporator, absorber, stripper, PFR, etc.
During silent hours of the plant my job included to check efficiencies and loads of Heat Exchangers,pumps,compressors,turbine etc using softwares such as ASPEN,HYSYS,HTRI and methods such as Pinch Analysis etc. I have undergone training for ISO certification,Soft Skills,PSM(Process Safety Management) and PHA (Process Hazard Analysis).
Since Jan2009 i had an opportunity to work in the erection and commissioning of an EVA(Ethylene Vinyl Acetate)plant which is now under commissioning phase.This plant is a high pressure process plant working at around 1500 bar to produce EVA.I have an opportunity to learn project management and commissioning strategies and the necessary soft skills towards plant commissioning.
During commissioning my job was to manage erection activities,checking P&ID's and corresponding field installations and suggesting proper changes in field and revisions in P&ID's and managing subordinate manpower with proper safety standards prevailing in the complex.
I personally have the knack of using software and computing in the field of chemical engineering to judge, analyze,the data and improve process conditions for optimal functioning of the plant.I would like to work in the field of Process Simulation and design and one of of my favourites Advanced Process Control.

A Chemical Engineering Graduate from Kanpur University (India)passed out in May 2007 with a CGPA of 7.03/10.

Intermediate from CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in May 2000 with 64%.

High-School from CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in May 1998 with 69.8%.

1.Summer training at IFFCO (Phulpur plant) with project on Ammonia Plant using DCS (distributed control system).

2.Completed a six month certificate course ‘Entrepreneurship Internship Program’ at IIT Kanpur.

3.Completed a vocational summer training course in MATLAB at IIT Kanpur.

4.Completed a certificate course in CAD/CAM at SISI (Small Industries Services Institute) Kanpur.

Keen user of computers and software in the field of chemical engineering and developed small soft wares and programs for calculations for engineering purposes.
I do have a personal intrest in solving technical chemical engineering problems,fesibility studies,Process Integration/Process Optimisation etc.
