Job Role/Department: Responsible for:
A- Start-up and shut down of the unit
B- Start-up and shutdown of the Main Air Blower (MAB)
C- Slide valve operation
D- Solving the MAB vacuum loss problem
E- MAB ejector change over
F- Lube oil pump start-up and shutdown
G- Catalyst loading
H- Emergency shutdown procedures
2. Gas concentration Unit
Job Role/Department: Successfully starts-up and shutdown of the unit and the troubleshooting and operation of the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) plant and also advised management to modify some of the piping system in the unit.
3. Main Column Unit
Job Role/Department: Responsible for:
A- the start-up and the shutdown of the unit
B- the Main Column bottom pump strainer cleaning
C- all emergency shutdowns
D- Main Column bottom fines check
E- Sampling of products and also steam generator heating and cooling mode procedures.
4. Merox Unit (LPG & Gasoline)
Job Role/Department: Responsible for the start-up and shutdown of the unit, caustic preparation and transfer, sample taking and its subsequent analysis, disulphide oil transfer and emergency shutdown.
5. Amine Treatment / Sour Water Treatment Unit
Job Role/Department: Responsible for the operation and shutdown of the units, amine filling and cold circulation, amine regeneration, sour water filling and cold/hot circulation, emergency shutdown of the units.
6. Utilities
Job Role/Department: Responsible for turbine start-up and shutdown, compressor start-up and shutdown and pump operations.
