Professional Experience
I am an experienced Earthworks and Civils Works Manager with over 12 years’ experience in bulk earthworks, road construction, deep drainage, opencast mining, remediation, landfill, water course diversions, road and highway construction, concrete works and heavy civils construction. I have managed up to seven concurrent projects and contract values from £0.5m to A$120m with labour forces from five to 250 men and over 100 units of heavy plant. I have an excellent record of working to time and budget and have often progressed from the earthworks phase through to the construction phase on the basis of the success of the first. I have expert knowledge of a wide range of earthworks and construction techniques and enjoy applying this knowledge to problem solving and overcoming difficulties. My management capability and authority is based on personal hands-on experience earlier in my career. I take pride in safe working and bringing jobs in to time and budget.
