Designed, engineered, programmed and implemented plant & field-wide wireless SCADA system with RTUs for data transmission & control of a Remote Processing Facility; Gas Transmission & Distribution Pipeline; & production well sites.
Systems included: DAQFactory, SCADAPack PLCs & a radio modem network.

2001 - 2008 Onshore Operations Site Manager (Block 53)

Ultimate field responsibility for all activities in Block 53 (East Sarr, Yemen). Block 53 consists of 3 oilfields producing Oil/Gas/Water in excess of 10KBPD/4MMSCFD/160KBPD.
Direct supervision of Production, Operations, Construction, Maintenance & HSE departments.
Liaison with drilling department, contractors and service companies.
Involved from grass roots stage. Actively employed in manpower selection, management and training of operations and maintenance staff.
Managed Sharyoof CPF to peak oil of 25,000 BPD. Production uptimes of over 99.5%. Enviable Safety Statistics.
Facilities include: central production facility, remote production facilities, 22 producing wells using Reda ESPs with Variable Speed Drives; 11 produced water injection wells for reservoir maintenance and disposal, using Reda HPS; oil storage and export pipeline.

2000 - 2001 Field Construction Super

Constructed Crude Oil Production Facility (Dove Energy) including: 25,000 BOPD & 60,000 BWPD central production facility; artificial lift production wells; oil storage and export pipeline; plant utilities; accommodation camp & messing facilities. On schedule and within budget.
Led team of multi-discipline Construction Supervisors.
Liaised with engineering company and local construction contractor, administering engineering changes, inspection of all instrument and electrical installations.
Commissioned Honeywell PlantScape SCADA and took lead role in start-up of plant and utilities.
