Instrument Technician

Perform calibration on Flow , Pressure , Level , Temperature transmitter and switches. 2-Troubleshoot and do maintenance for any kind of instrument.

1. Perform routine maintenance, repair & calibration tasks which require core skills in instrumentation,
under the supervision & guidance of higher grade technicians.
2. Perform calibration on process instruments and performs single loop check.
3. Perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation and communication system.
4. Upkeep and maintain instrument maintenance history and documentation.
5. Carry out routine checks on monitoring equipment.
6. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work and carries out shutdown work.
7. Fill up history card and forms after doing calibration and preventive maintenance work.
8. Carry out any other plant related activities, as and when directed or instructed by the superior.
9. Assist in instruments installations.
10. Provide shift coverage when necessary, especially during plant shutdown/start-up.
11. Ensure good house keeping and safety procedures are followed.
12. Maintain daily log of instrument related activities done.
13. Carry out multitask jobs as per list under the supervision of higher grade technicians.
13.1 Assist in LV electrical installation and troubleshooting works.
13.2 Assist in preventive maintenance activities on plant LV electrical works.
13.3 Assists in dismantling work, repair work, field and workshop work on all plant LV
13.4 Perform minor maintenance activities on air conditioning and communication equipment.
13.5 Recommend spare parts and consumables to be purchased on plant LV equipment.
