BP Operations Mechanical Coach Currently employed as coach for Azeri national Mechanical trainees. This role involves inducting National Trainees from the Petrofac training centre in Azerbaijan into the BP safe system of work. Trainees arriving from the training centre are required to undertake a stringent training program under the BP Competency Management Assurance System (CMAS) The Azeri Technicians are then coached to a pre-determined level as stated in BP CMAS guidelines. The nationals are then assessed by the coach to confirm their competence on the various engineering units as required under CMAS guidelines. It is my responsibility to take trainees from the training centre and develop them into Mechanical technicians who can operate to BP’s high standards of competency.
My role prior to being employed as national trainee coach on DWG was BP operations mechanical commissioning engineer during the construction of DWG platform in the ship yard in Baku. As BP operations mechanical engineer it was my responsibility to accept and sign for the mechanical content on SH1 packs. I was Included in start up of all systems and associated equipment. Liaising with vendors gaining familiarisation of vendor equipment and procedures for future maintenance operations.
Currently working on the following vendor supplied equipment: Rolls Royce RB211 Gas Turbine Generators; Sulzer water injection pumps driven by RB211; Weirs MOL and sea water lift pumps.
Using BP maintenance management tool Maximo on a daily basis to raise work orders and requisition spare parts.Currently using Bently Nevada system 1 vibration analysis equipment.2006-2007
