Responsibilities
• Manage and administer projects contracts. Ensure effective and efficient site planning, project delivery and day-to-day operation of all plant & facilities of projects.

• Develop and improve communications between subsections and management, through consultative processes and management information and reporting systems, and maintain effective consultation within the Heads of Departments and the Physical Resources Department, and liaise with owners &sub contractors and consultant staff and other relating staff to ensure integrated performance and timely and effective production of results.


• Provide leadership, vision and direction for facilities staff; assist the Physical Resources Manager in managing staff and resources. Undertake surveys of customer satisfaction, in particular prior and following any proposed refurbishment, capital and maintenance projects. Liase with interested parties to negotiate successful solutions to any issues highlighted by the customer surveys

• Visit projects during construction or installation works, to ensure that total requirements are being achieved. Attend site meetings where appropriate and resolve field disputes. Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, accepted engineering and statutory practices or codes. Issue variations to contracts and site or work instructions. Ensure sound Occupational Safety practices are implemented and maintained.
