1.Creation of all Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping in support of the Exploration team
2. Implementation of ArcGIS tools to assist in the analysis of existing and new greenfield sites.
3.handle, capture data, organize, edit, relate, analyze, and visualize the information to help, support the decision makers.
4.Collecting data from multiple sources (both digital and tangible)
5.Handling coordinate reference system, execute transformations and map projection/ re-projection, verify and validate results
6.Maintain cartographic Standards, develop, implement and maintain cartographic practices, generalization, Legend, symbology, grids, etc.
• Georeferencing of Paper maps and creation of thematic maps
• create customized maps for exploration projects using GIS technology to integrate data with available data to create standards and information-rich maps
• updating, developing and enhancing GIS layers in Shell GIS Server monthly on regular basis, specially concession maps Well status.
• organize and provide management for data conversion from CAD formats (Microstation, AutoCAD) to the shape file format for exploration projects.
• Doing Geo-referencing for images in ArcMap
• Knowledge of data-driven cartography and map production
•• Scanning and image manipulation
• Enhancement and archiving.
• Quality Control & Applying cartographic standards data accuracy
