Career Summary.
Have had 15 years experience welding on Power stations coal fired, Nuclear and Gas. Oil Refineries and Petro chemical Plants, Ship Yards, Oil and Gas Pipeline both
Overland and Subsea. Started off my career as an apprentice welder, which I served with distinction gaining recognized national certification. Became a fully coded welder
Experienced in different welding processes i.e. M.I.G., T.IG. , M.M.A. and S.AW. Worked with different materials i.e. Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel and Chrome Moly. During my career I have worked world wide in different environments and conditions, fully conversant in all aspects of construction and installation projects. I have in my time been promoted from welder to welding supervisor in whom I have good man management skills. I am highly motivated and have confidence in my own ability to oversee and instruct welding crews in all welding processes. Have been approved as a classified worker on Nuclear Power Stations.
Eductation
Sept 1991 till Aug.1993: Attended NETA. Training school Stockton –on – Tees as an ECITB. Apprentice under the NASEC training scheme. Where I learned how to practically weld pipe and plate using all weldig Processes and several materials including stainless steel Carbon steel and chrome moly.
I also attended Longlands College of Further Education in Middlesbourgh, on Block release were I gained City & Guilds Certificates with credits and distinctions in welding and Engineering, craft studies plus NVQ Level III in engineering Construction ( craft competence’s)and Welding (pipe &tube)
Sept1993 till July1994: On site training as an ECITB. Apprentice with Mc. Tay Ltd.Based in their yard at Bromborough Merseyside.
