• Undertake any and supervise projects handled by the department.
• Diagnose and resolve moderately complex hardware and software problems
• Assist senior staff members in the resolution of complex hardware and software problems
• Proactive monitoring, recognition and resolution of infrastructure problems
• Provide administration of the maintenance windows and vendor service
• Utilize the problem tracking system to ensure that all problems routed to them are effectively handled and closed in a timely manner
• Monitor the infrastructure for optimal operation given the business and security requirements
• Train staff members on departmental process and procedures
• Install, configure, and test standard infrastructure configurations
• Assist senior staff and Engineering and Design staff in infrastructure projects
• Assist in preparing Service Level Agreements
