Commercial Air Diver & NDT Inspector

Objective Diver Keep on going as things get tough, my goal is to obtain a job related to diving on diving vessels, Oil rigs ( India/ abroad).

Work Experience
(a) Obtained Diving experience on board various Indian naval ships/ Submarine for 10 years.

(b) Consolidated experience in the field of diving duties in various afloat and ashore units and installation of Indian Navy.

(c) Operational Diving experience as a professional diver being engaged in bottom searches, propeller inspection, gland packing, cleaning of Tug, recovery of cargo, floating marker, Buoy of channels.

Career Highlights:

Indian Navy - From Feb 1994 to Feb 2009

1. Inspection of underwater Hull, inspection of underwater machineries like propeller, stabilizers, ballast tanks, cleaning and clearing of fishing nets of superstructures. On various occasion carried out diving at short notice during torpedo firing exercise i.e recovery of torpedo at sea.

2. The jobs involves lot of experiences gained in 10 yrs of diving service like deployed with Army and Air force for recovery of Akash missile trials at Balasore, Orissa. Involved in giving training to Air force personnel for sea survival course at sea at Suryalanka Air force Station, Vijaywada. The jobs involved in launching of Gemini including beaching and recovery of personnel from sea in a professional manner.


3. I have been a part of Asia’s First” Submarine Museum- INS Kurusura” at Rama Krishna Beach at Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh). During this mission diving was carried out of non stop for about 72 hours for fitting of bracket underneath the submarine (Hull).

COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE:

UTKAL SHIP UNDERWATER SERVICES - From 12 Mar 09 to 14-04-09

Diving carried out on Merchant Vessel Ronga sunk at Kodinar, Gujrat. Work undertaken is
- Inspection, lifting & fitment of slings on cutting deck plates
- Searching of deck plates
- U/W cutting using BROCCO
- Used SDDE & KMB 18 helmet.

INDIAN DIVER’S CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY LTD – From 21-04-09 to 26-05-09

Diving carried out at Ranjit Sagar Dam, Punjab.
- For inspection of gates.
- Removing of foreign material
- Sealing of gate.
