For boilers and their auxiliary systems. Responsible for:
* Carrying out corrective maintenance procedures for I&C equipments and systems through daily work permits, this included a wide range of instrumentations and control systems such as (temperature, pressure, level and flow transmitters, switches and indicators, Control Valves and PLC systems )
* Closely coordinate daily activity with other sections of maintenance, planning and operations and make sure that the jobs are completed to proper standards with up to date preparations of repairs report, calibration report, history cards and inventory requirements.
* Carrying out preventive maintenance done periodically,
* Preparing Spare Parts Inquiries and Tenders keeping in view run and maintain requirements, which include: Evaluate materials/ spare parts requirements, Finalizes required quantities of spare parts based on recommendation from manufacturers/vendors and prepares quantity vs. Cost justifications as required and carryout inspection for incoming materials and spare parts.
B) 5/2003 – 7/2007
Senior Shift Charge Engineer in Operation Section in Aqaba Thermal Power Station
Responsible for:
* Starting, shutting down & safety operating for Electricity Generating Units which contain Boilers, Steam Turbines and Generators.
* Determining and carrying out the required procedures and isolations (Electrical and Mechanical) for the equipments which will be under maintenance (for example: Pumps, Compressors, Fans, Heaters, Control Instrumentations & Valves), and issuing work permits for maintenance sections.
* Carrying out Routines, Tests and Change Over for equipments (2-week, 4-weeks …etc).
* Writing the technical reports about any abnormal behaviors of the equipments and the systems and analyzing the problems.
