Design Engineer

Total 30 years of experience in Oil and Gas (O&G). 15 years in Management type roles (Chief Projects Manager, Engineering Services Manager, Instrument Manager, Senior/Project Engineer and Construction Manager) plus over 15 years in Lead/Senior Technical Design Engineering roles (Control Systems, Instrumentation, Process Control, DCS, ESD, Fire & Safety, SCADA, Metering System)
I am a competent Manager and Engineer with excellent communication, organization and co-ordination skills. Possessing a proven track record of preparing and executing project plans and programs, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the companies procedures and clients satisfaction. Able to ensure timely, safe and cost effective design and implementation during the life cycle of projects from conception till customer satisfaction.
The role, to ensuring that all engineering work is carried out in accordance with specifications, statutory requirements, laws, rules, regulations and other contractual requirements.
I imposed a healthy regard to safety, operability and maintainability throughout the Project lifecycle.

Currently responsible for Control & Instrumentation Engineering for three numbers of LSTK and re-measurable projects assigned to Fluor PMC including managing a diverse international team to coordinate, review and performing engineering activities on behalf of KOC for Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas projects.

Extensive Experience in full project life cycle ranging from Conceptual study and design, Undertaking site surveys , Preparation of Front end engineering design package(FEED), Enhanced FEED, Detailed Design engineering, Preparing cost estimates, Proposing solutions , Preparation of Contract Technical scope of work , Technical specifications/ Detailing, Addenda to Various Technical Standards / Specifications, Development of Project specific specifications, Preparation of various detailed design Instrumentation documents, Prequalification, Bids analysis, Selection of Contractors, chairing project meetings, Review of Contractor’ Detailed Design Documents , managing change and Change Control , for large scale projects including in Refineries, Gathering centers, booster stations , Pipelines , sub-sea Control systems etc.

I have done M.Sc(Tech ) Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and science Pilani India. It is one of the best university in India.
