a) Communication with suppliers and shipping lines to ensure
fastest/cheapest transportation of imports of commercial and non-
commercial items to Chittagong Port and clearance thereafter from Port
to factory-wise bonded warehouses.
b) Coordination and follow up with factories, merchandisers, sales teams,
foreign suppliers and foreign buyers to organize smooth import/export
cargo clearing and forwarding.
c) Correspondences and negotiation with foreign suppliers, general banking
for fastest possible shipments by them. Also negotiate with foreign
buyers and their nominated forwarders for shipment of late cargo
smoothly, to avoid discount or air fright.
d) Responsible for Port, Customs and Bond activities monitoring.

2) 1996-1999,Jr.Executive in James Finlay PLC as Lloyd's Agents with additional
responsibilities of assistance in PNI activities and Lloyd’s of London
Intelligence. Also responsible for cargo discharge supervissions of bulk
chartered vessels on behalf of owners/charters and underwriters.

3) 2000-2002, Assistant Country Coordinator in OOCL Logistics - one of the
leading cargo consolidators of the world, behalf of foreign readymade
garments buyers from Bangladesh.

4) 2002-2005, Cargo Operation & Customer Service In-charge, Chittagong Branch
in MGH Group, the biggest freight forwarding/shipping house of Bangladesh
with responsibilities of Supply Chain implementation as directed by the
foreign buyers of readymade garments.
