Projects and Achievements:
1-Improving the current Manufacturing Planning System: The target was to provide an organized system making a significant reduction in total inventory cost, along with shorter delivery time. The tools used were; ABC Analyses, Tracking signal calculations, Lot sizing Techniques, Forecasting, and MRP/MPS Techniques.
2-Capacity Evaluation: The current capacities of the departments were analysed, Break-Even analyses were conducted, and the best strategically choice was taken.
3-Improving the Organization Structure and Functions of Quality Department: Creation of Customer Complaints Unit, Waste Control Unit, and Documentation & Training Unit inside Q.U to achieve a big quality jump in the department engine performance.
4-Re-calculating Products costs: a Job Order Costing system to determine the cost of each product at any stage was conducted. Time standard Project is also included in this project; where each product cycle time was calculated.
5-Kaizen Workshops: Japanese Philosophy concerns with continually seeking ways to improve Operations. .
6-Enhancement of Manufacturing Operations: Proper Implementation of Quality Circles, Variance Notice feedback, and applying Internal Acceptance Sampling Concepts and tools.
7-Other Projects about Feasibility Studies, Productivity Improvement, Financial Statement Analyses (Horizontal, Vertical, and Ratio Analyses), Cash Flow Analyses, and Six- sigma Methodology to control the waste.
