I want to broaded my knowledge in petrochemical industry and experience new and diverse techniques relating to quality. The knowledge that I have gained has contributed tremendously to my personal career development.

I started my career in 1997 as an NDE technician with a firm named Non Destructive Testers, from there I started to perform various NDE methods and prepare relevant documentation, soon after I was sent to numerous training courses e.g. basic safety training (bptt), environmental & management systems (bptt) NDE testing of drill stem components, OCTG and other oilfield equipment (bptt), NDE certification as per ASNT TC-1A requirements plus a number of additional courses. After I moved to another firm in the later half of 2007 named Trinidad Inspection services where held the position of a senior NDE inspector, there I supervised NDE technicians, coordinated jobs and did some marketing on the company’s behalf, they sent me on a course named tropical basic offshore safety induction & emergency training (TBOSIET).From the end of 2007 I joined Trinpet-its where I’m presently employed as a QA/QC inspector, some of my daily duties are to maintain QC and SOP manuals and QMS related documents and databases, use of measurement and test equipment applicable to in-process dimensional verification, to perform various NDE methods as required and to ensure conformity to customer/API QC standards and requirements. During this time I attended a quality management system internal quality auditing course (ISO 9001:200), I also did a refresher course on first aid training and fire fighting training and fire warden/fire Marshall from a highly reputable establishment.

I started at the primary level and then moved on to attend Princes town junior and senior secondary school where I left after exams with three(3) grade II passes and two(2) grade III passes. One of my key performances was with the school’s soccer league where I was a significant player back then.

I have been through extensive training from various companies like bptt, hummingbird helicopter services and a few others; I have gained certification with various NDE methods with the American society for non destructive testing, also certified in Environmental and management systems, Integrated safe system of work, tropical basic offshore safety induction and emergency training and ISO 9001 internal quality auditing to name a few.

Some of my skills are but not limited to are performing the various methods of NDE to a recognisable level, ensuring that API standards are adhered to pertaining to customer requirements, identifying non conformances and proper documentation is followed, perform audits on internal systems/procedures as well as service/product suppliers.
