Survey Manager for Agip KCO in Kazakhstan. During this period, responsible for all on- and offshore surveys, creation of shipping routes, protection zones, save anchorage areas, route surveys, benchmarks, etc.
Setting up of Geodetic network, combined settlement & Subsidence monitoring systems. Successfully implemented ISO 9001:2000 into the Geomatics department. (First department within Agip KCO to get certification) Responsible for approx. 26 personnel. (Main part locals, but also experienced consultants via call-off contracts.) Setting up of various contracts for Geomatics Department. (Tender issue, review, clarifications and award recommendations.) Purchase of survey materials for Agip KCO. Interaction with various local Republic of Kazakhstan authorities on survey issues. Working within Geomatics (survey, GIS and Geotechnical) teams to supply survey services to all departments within Agip KCO. Setting up of full set of internal procedures in-line with ISO 9001:2000 requirements. Monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting. Annual budget requirements.

As snr. Project Surveyor / Manager for Geoconsult for Ormen Lange upstream lines, Allseas Engineering USA, Subsea7 USA, Subsea7 UK, Allseas Engineering B.V., TL Geohydrographics in Malaysia, Stolt Offshore Ltd. (Survey operations Manager (UK)). In this position responsible for all survey activities in the UK & Dutch sectors, as well as assisting with worldwide operations within Stolt Offshore as required. Coordination of project surveyors for assigned projects in-house and external. Annual budget input & review. Contact with potential clients. Setting up of worldwide frame agreements for DGPS services with Thales. Quarterly review of DGPS services. Controlling DGPS requirements on more then 30 vessels within Stolt Offshore worldwide.
