Responsible for operations and management of 12 member team in Kabul, Kandahar, Mazr-i-Sharif, Herat, Dubai UAE to provide IT services and facilities. Communications, fleet tracking in remote/hostile areas, security support. Networks, VSAT Internet, negotiation with vendors local and international. Systems include W2003, XP, Microsoft Office suite, Access, Axapta.

2006-2007 TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Providing technical IT support and advice to a local logistics firm. Duties include AS/400 systems support, design, disaster recovery, AVP. Systems include AS/400, XP, Microsoft Office suite, COBOL, CL.

1999-2005 IT MANAGER
Hunt Oil Co., Sana’a, Yemen
Manager in charge of Information/Technology systems. Responsible for maintenance and operation of approximately 400 Microsoft platform PC's in oil field operations, warehousing, drilling, pipeline, oil tanker operations, etc. Responsible for year 2000 compliance issues in country. Duties include managing 12 member team for local programming, operations staff and networks and PC maintenance staff. Developed and performed initial network installations in pristine facilities including short-hop microwave links. Systems included W2000, W2003, W98, XP, NT, AS/400 using Microsoft Office suite, Access, COBOL, CL.
