Seeking a graduate level engineering position specifically within Petroleum/Reservoir or Drilling areas enabling the utilisation of skills and knowledge to date while offering the opportunity for further development.

2006 – 2009 Student Ambassador, London South Bank University – UK
• Working as student ambassador across three departments which are Widening Participation Unit – WPU, London Engineering Project – LEP and UK Recruitment - UKREC
• Accountable for a range of activities conducting University Tours, supervising visiting students and encouraging school students to attend the University
• Assisting in the execution of faculty open days, summer schools and information evenings and assisting individuals with literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Presenting various courses at local schools with specific focus on the encouragement of female students to study engineering
• Responsible for answer admissions and recruitment related enquires at the front desk in the admissions and the recruitment centre, involving liaison with current students and general public
• Managing a wide range of administrative duties including updating student records and ensuring accuracy at all times

• Accountable for managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to successful resolution

• Accountable for the resolution of computer faults at client offices and assembling and formatting computers in line with requirements

I have chosen to apply for this position because I like a role which is adventurous,challenging, a role which can utilise my skills and knowledge to its full potential and a role which can enhance my way of thinking, plus I like travelling so moving around will not be a problem and this fits in perfectly.I made a decision to become a Petroleum Engineer when I was only 16, because I was really amazed of how these “Engineers” can drill so deep down into the earth’s crust and find something (fuel), on the basis of which the whole world is running.Since that day I have been trying really hard to do as much as I can to enhance my skills and knowledge in this particular field.I have acquired essential skills required to work for an oil industry.Over the last three years as a student ambassador and as an administrative assistant combined with my first degree at university I have demonstrated the ability to work efficiently,independently as well as in a team with good communication, team building, and technical, problem-solving and time management skills.My personal attributes also include leadership and sound judgement as well as creative and analytical skills.I have also learned to multitask and work under pressure in a fast paced environment.I interact productively with people from diverse backgrounds. I have a good history of achieving my goals and to carry quality work to timely completion.I am confident I could make significant contributions,and will be an asset to your company
