1. Operation of Tinius Ductomat, Exonics Earing Tester, Amsler Earing Tester, including setup, operation, maintenance, and running control charts to assure correct operation of instruments.
2. Operation of Tinius Olsen Horizontal Tensile Tester and dogbone press, including setup of tasks, maintenance of instrument, and using XY stress/strain recorder.
3. Postlube analyses and weight gauge calculations.
4. Access and enter data into QALAB, retrieve data from QALAB and prepare manual and automated control charts.
5. ARL Optical Emission Spectrometer- routine operation, profiling, single point and two point calibrations, routine maintenance of instrument.
6. Hotmill oil concentration analysis, including collecting, preparing sample, centrifuging and reading of concentration, including preparation of reagents used in the analysis.
7. Prepare crucibles for PoDFA testing, including cleaning, preparation of filters, and preheating.
8. Anodize and grade hotband samples and finished gauge samples for surface quality and block joint quality.
9. Calculation of crown and wedge on slab, hotband, and finished gauge samples, including preparation of graphs of profiles.
10. PoDFA sampling- pulling PoDFA samples correctly in the meltshop.
11. Metallographic preparation of PoDFA samples, including cutting, mounting, polishing samples to prepare for analyses, and routine maintenance on Struers Abrapol polisher.
