Construction Management

Operations Manager - Experience
Responsible to the Director.
Report to the Director with respect to construction activities on individual sites under his control.
Liaise with, and discuss with, the Contracts Manager responsible for that job.
In control of, and responsible to the Director for on site activities.
Concentrate on the larger projects and trouble shoot on the smaller projects.
Advice to Contracts Managers / Estimators on pretender larger projects.
Liaise with Contracts manager to create and manage the construction program.
Control of Labour and Plant on site.
Cost control, plant and Labour acquisition for contracts.
Ensure record keeping and submission to accounts and QS functions.
Liaison with Clients re day to day construction.
Liaison with Plant Department re availability, preparation and suitability of equipment and notification of defects.
Responsible for site treatment of machinery and routine maintenance by drivers and operators.
Safety, profitability, productivity and maintenance of good working practice and compliance with all environmental and other statutory regulations on site.
Use of Company management systems including safety, quality and environmental.
Compliance with Company Procedures.
Set a personal example with respect to good business practise, environmental and safety matters.
