Maintenance manager

A highly experienced manager and electrical engineer with 40 years of experience – during Shell years formally recognized as a top ranking technical professional and technical manager – seeking a management level job in the oil and gas industry.

Experience in Project Engineering and Management, Construction Supervision and Management, Commissioning Execution and Management and Maintenance Excution and Management. Onshore and Offshore Oil and Gas facilities, Refineries, LNG plants and Power Generation. Hands-on, Supervisory and Managerial experience, both Electrical and Generalist, having been involved in all aspects of Shell operations, both in the field and in the office.

SASREF: Management and Execution of RCM reviews, risk analysis and RBI activities. As Department Head full responsibility for managing manpower, departmental budgets, contract design, issue and control.

Sudan, SASREF and WAFA: Directly involvement and management of plant shut downs.

WAFA, Libya; Management of a maintenance department of 92 people + client personnel and responsibility for all client contacts and contractor contacts in the field plus being UHDE site representative.

Competency training and assessment of personnel plus design of training courses have been executed, and managed. Development of Electrical Safety Regulations and Procedures and all related training in various Shell locations.

Proven ability to manage a multi cultural work force and ability to perform and produce results at all levels.

Proven capability as trouble shooter and change manager.

Retired from Shell September 2007 at job group 2 level – being in the top of technical management.
