Currently working in DEL’s EPC based project, 50 MW Gas Turbine Power Plant of SEWA (Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority) in Khorfakkan UAE.

Job Responsibilities includes:

ENGINEERING DESIGN (JGC-DESCON ENGINEERING LIMITED - Nov 2008 – April 2009)

• Review of detail instrumentation design package.
• Extraction of BOQ and BOM from instrument drawings.
• Detail Review of Data Sheets, Instrument Block Diagram, Interconnection Drawings, ILDs and Hook up Drawings.
• Review of selection of field instruments.
• Establish effective coordination between Engineering, Procurement and Project Management Team.

INSTALLATION, PRE-COMMISSIONING AND COMMISSIONING (DESCON ENGG. SHARJAH POWER STATION PROJECT SITE KHORFAKKAN SHARJAH UAE, From May 2009 to September 2009)

• Resolve site technical queries and cross discipline issues with Construction Contractor.
• Responsible for the supervision of construction activities for field instruments.
• To check the calibration of instruments like Pressure Gages, Temperature indicators, Transmitters (all kind), Pressure Switches etc
• Installation of cable trays and conduits for instrument cables from field to the control room.
• Develop effective communication between field instruments and control room through serial (RS 232) and fiber optic cable.
• Implementation of instrument wiring terminations.
• Loop Checks of field Instruments with DCS and PLC systems.
• Responsible for the preparation of as-built drawings.
