Duties and Responsibilities:-
• To supervise the complete installation and commissioning of different mechanical equipments for better quality. To report the top management on daily progress of work.
• To study and understanding of drawings like Plant Equipments lay out, erection drawings etc
• Understand complete layout of installation work for the project and to allocate the manpower accordingly
• To anchor all erection activities to ensure completion of projects within the time and cost frames and effective resource allocation to maximize outputs.
• Estimating required tools/tackles, consumables, lifting equipments etc for equipments erection.
• Handling/Supervising Loading, Unloading, shifting and storage of Mechanical & Electrical equipments at sites.
• Provides field assistance to Senior Engineers with respect to all erection operations.
• Provides Daily Activity Reports, day-to-day activities / operations and gap analysis.
• Reviews daily the Contractors staffing, labour, plant and equipment with respect to erection operations. Reports any deviation to the Senior Manager/Engineer.
• Interaction with contract peoples on matter such as project review, modification etc.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities.
• Coordination with Purchase Department for issue of Purchase order.
• To understand the safety norms of installation and get the job done accordingly.
• Carries out surveillance on safety, workmanship, quality and schedule and assures that results are in full compliance with erection requirements.
• Conducts a daily safety tour in my allocated area and report findings to the Safety Department. Takes immediate action as required.
• Ensures that the housekeeping of the work areas at all time comfortable.

 Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering passed on May 2008 with 70% First Class from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering & Technology, Karaikudi, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

• Underwent In plant training in Mando Brake Systems India Ltd., Sriperampudur.
• Training course on Cement Manufacturing Technology from National council for Cement and Building Materials, Delhi
