Start-up, shut-down and operation of 120MW 4 nos GE Frame 9 gas turbines with GE Speedtronic Mark VI and DCS controllers.
Operation of water treatment and waste water treatment plant.
Issuing work permits and updating necessary energy and gas consumed records.
(September 2010-April 2013) Control Room Operator, NetcoDietsmann, For SPDC Afam VI Combined Cycle Power Plant.
Start-up, shut-down, of Alstom GT 13E2 x 3 gas turbines at 147MW each and Alstom Steam Turbine x 3 Heat Recovery Steam Generators, with total installed capacity of 656MW / Black Start Niigata Diesel Generator, model 18V32CLX of 5.5MW,being machines of SPDCs $14bn CCGT, with EGATROL, DCS and ASPA Controls.
Establish communication with Okoloma Gas Plant regarding effective supply of fuel gas for generation.
Communicate with National Control Centre (NCC) on load shedding, plant load-up, grid frequency and 330kv transmission line management, and synchronisation to grid and general plant to grid communication.
Carry out weekly test-run of plant standby pumps, compressors and other balance of plant equipments.
Co-ordinate operation procedures with field operators.
Enter all daily, weekly and monthly reports vis power generation, generation forecasts, gas consumption etc
Make work requests regarding defective and faulty equipment while ensuring PTW compliance.
