Professional Experience
inspected and performed repairs on various models of turbine engines, associated components and modules according to manufacturer requirement and CLIENT quality procedures
• Performed preliminary receiving inspection of engines, modules and components using required precision measuring equipment as necessary to determine condition.
• Evaluated engine components per manufacturer criteria with calibrated precision measuring equipment to determine serviceability/reparability.
• Inspected turbine engine components using non-destructive inspection methods such as fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle machinery.
• Utilized controlled documents and computer databases to record pertinent data regarding components being inspected.
• Assured that all inspections and repairs were properly performed according to current technical data and all inspection records and forms were properly executed prior to return to service of the product being maintained
• Performed QA inspection duties on FAR 135 aircraft. Researched and reviewed aircraft documentations for airworthiness release while adhering to FAA guidelines. Audited aircraft parts for conformity.
• Ensured the quality of products and services and for achieving the goals and objectives of the repair station. Maintaining a current file of pertinent technical data, including CFR‘s, specifications, manufacture‘s maintenance manuals, service bulletins (SB), Airworthiness Directives (AD), and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Ensured the proper execution of FAA form 337, FAA form 8110-3 and engineering data. Promoted teamwork and self esteem in a fast paced corporate aircraft completion environment.
